This Privacy Policy applies to the sites and apps where it appears.

This Policy describes how we treat personal information we collect both online and offline. This includes on our websites and in our apps. It also includes at our locations or in phone or email interactions you have with us.

Our Privacy Notice has been designed with you in mind. How the notice applies to you will depend on the way in which you interact with us. For example, if you:

  1. Place a reservation with us or purchase a ticket,  we will use the information you provide us to fulfill our obligations to     you in delivering that service, and, where permitted, keep you up to date about other events or venues that may be of interest to you; and
  2. When you browse our sites, we use cookies to tailor your experience and hopefully provide you with a seamless experience.

WHAT INFORMATION WE HAVE & WHERE WE GET IT

  • If you create an account & buy from us. If you create an account, purchase a product from us (such as a travel package or event ticket), we will collect your contact and billing information. When you register for a presale, we collect your contact information.
  • Buy tickets to our events. When you purchase a travel package or tickets to one of our events, or an event for which we are a co-promoter, we will receive your information from ticket agents or e-commerce platforms used to sell travel packages and tickets for our promoted and co-promoted events, or the venues we hire to put on the event.  This includes your name, contact details and purchase information. If your purchase includes stay or travel accommodations, we will collect information necessary to facilitate your stay and travel.
  • Fan images and CCTV. When attending one of our events at a venue or festival we may collect your image and likeness whether this is through CCTV (we use signs where CCTV is used), or when videographers or photographers are running campaigns at venues or festivals. If you wish to object to this information being collected see the ‘Your Rights & Choices’  section below.
  • Accessibility Information. We may collect details of your health if you have accessibility requirements when attending events or other locations.
  • Information used for health/safety purposes. We may collect information from purchasers and attendees for compliance purposes related to infectious disease to the extent required under applicable law. This information may include names, contact details, seat locations, along with entry and exit times. In situations where a third party for an event organizer requires the collection of health information (such as test results), please refer to their privacy policy and terms to understand how your data was collected and used.
  • Using our website and apps. When you use our websites or apps, we collect information such as the browser and device you're using, your IP address, your location, the site you came from, what you did and didn't use our site/app for, or the site you visit when you leave us. We may collect this using technology such as GPS and Wi-Fi.
  • Safeguarding. When you attend one of our promoted events or shows, we operate safeguarding programs to ensure the safety of all our fans. This involves keeping records of incidents such as evictions, if someone falls ill and requires medical assistance and criminal activities.
  • Competitions. When you enter into competitions we run, we’ll use your information to administer your entry and contact you if you’ve been successful. If the prize is administered by a third party, we’ll let you know who they are.
  • Fan experience & customer support. When you contact our Customer Services teams with a query or provide us with feedback, we record that interaction for evidentiary purposes and to provide support related to your query.
  • Using social media. When you use a social media feature within our website or apps, and you post to social media platforms, the social media site may provide us with some information about you.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION & WHY

  • Provide products and services. We use your information to process your order and provide you with customer support. This includes sending you emails about your travel, account or a purchase. We might also contact you about this policy or our website terms.
  • Requests or questions. For example, we might use your information to confirm your registration for an event or contest. You may give us your friend's information, for example via our referral service to tell a friend about our website or to purchase a gift card. We will only use your friend's information to provide services you requested. Your friend may contact us at privacy@livenation.com to ask us to delete their information.
  • Improve our products and services. We might use your information to customize your experience with us. This could include displaying content based upon your preferences.
  • Improve our website, products, and services. We may combine information we get from you with information about you we get from third parties.
  • Security purposes. We use information to protect our company, our venues, our customers, and our websites. This includes to detect or prevent unlawful behavior.
  • Health/safety purposes. Any information required to be collected for purposes of compliance with applicable health and safety requirements will only be used to contact attendees or shared with relevant local, state or federal authorities. This information is regularly deleted.
  • Marketing purposes. For example, we might send you information about special promotions or offers. We might also tell you about new features or products. These might be our own offers or products, or third-party offers or products we think you might find interesting. Or, for example, if you make a purchase from us we may enroll you in our newsletter. We use information as required or otherwise permitted by law or as we may notify you.

We keep your information as long as it is necessary or relevant for our business. We also keep information to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and otherwise required by law.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH & WHY

We may share information with third parties:

  • We will share information within the Live Nation family of companies. This may include Groot Hospitality and Live Nation-owned or operated venues, for example.
  • We will share information with third parties who perform services on our behalf. For example, we share information with vendors who help us manage our IT infrastructure or who fulfill your requests. Some vendors may be located outside of the United States.
  • We will share information with our business partners. This includes a third party who provides an event such as the artist, promoter or team, or sponsors an event, or who operates a venue where we hold events. Our partners use the information we give them as described in their privacy policies, which may include sending you marketing communications. You should read those polices to learn how they treat your information.
  • We may share information if we think we have to in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. For example, we will share information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We may also share information if a government agency or investigatory body requests it. We may share information when we are investigating potential fraud.
  • We may share information with any successor to all or part of our business. For example, if part of our business is sold we may give our customer list as part of that transaction.
  • We may share your information for reasons not described in this policy. We will tell you before we do this.

YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS

  • ‍You can opt out of receiving our marketing emails. To stop receiving our promotional emails, click here or follow the instructions in any marketing email you get from us. You can also change your preferences in your account. It may take about ten days to process your request. Even if you opt out of getting marketing emails, we will still be sure to send you transactional messages. For example, we may still contact you about your orders.
  • You can modify information you have given us. To correct or delete information or update account settings, log into your account and follow the instructions. We make changes as soon as we can. This information may stay in our backup files. If we cannot make the changes you want, we will let you know and explain why. If you contact us requesting access to your information, we will respond within 45 days.

Your California Privacy Rights

“Shine the Light” Law.  If you are a California resident and have an established business relationship with us, you can email us to request a list of the personal information we have shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. We will also give you a list of the third parties that have received your information. You can make a request one time each year.

Mention in your email that you are making a "California Shine the Light" inquiry. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are a California resident, you have specific privacy rights governed by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These rights include:

Please be sure to include your full name, email address, and which type of request you are making in your letter.
  • To verify your identity, we may collect information such as your full name and email address. This information will be compared to our existing records to verify the identity of the individual submitting the request. We may also require you to confirm your request via an automated email message before responding to your CCPA rights request. Depending on the sensitivity of the information requested and the type of request, we may require additional information to verify your identity before responding. We will respond to your request within 45 days if possible and required under the law.
